Initially, activate the yeast by mixing yeast, sugar, and 60ml of warm water in a bowl and leaving it aside for at least 5 minutes.
Take a bowl; add Maida flour, 1tsp of salt, and 1tbsp of oil. Mix them well.
Now add the activated yeast to it and mix well.
Add ¼ cup of Luke warm water and knead the dough.
Add 1tsp olive oil and knead the dough for 8 to 10 minutes.
Place the dough in a bowl, add few drops of oil over it and close with a lid. This step is to avoid drying of the dough.
Leave it for 2hours. Now the dough will become fluffy.
Once again knead the dough for few minutes and make lemon sized balls with the dough.
Cover these balls with a cloth for 5 minutes.
Later, roll the balls into circles and make roti for homemade chicken shawarma.
Heat them one by one in a tawa at medium flame.
Now the roti is ready for preparing homemade chicken shawarma.
Mix eggless mayonnaise, garlic cloves, lemon juice, white sesame seeds, pepper, 1/4tsp of salt, and 1tsp of oil.
Blend this mixture with a hand immersion blender. Now garlic mayonnaise sauce is ready for preparing homemade chicken shawarma.
Take chicken in a bowl; add turmeric powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, curd and ¼tsp of salt to it.
Mix them well and marinate for 30 minutes.
Heat 1tbsp of oil and cook the marinated chicken pieces until it turns golden brown.
Chop the cooked chicken into small pieces.
Add chopped cabbage, cucumber, carrot, onion, and garlic mayonnaise sauce to the chicken pieces and mix them well.
