 1 qt Pomfret fish
 ½ qt Lemon
 1 tsp Besan flour
 1 tbsp Homemade Kuzhambu Masala
 1 tsp Kashmir Chilli Powder
 1 tsp Corn flour
 ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
 60 ml Oil
 Salt, for taste
Method of preparation of Pomfret fish fry

Clean the pomfret fish and make few gashes all over it.

Take a bowl; squeeze the lemon juice and add salt as required. Mix it well. Spread this salted lemon juice all over fish. Take a plate; add besan flour, homemade kuzhambu masala, Kashmir chilli powder, corn flour, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix it well and now the masala for Pomfret fish fry is ready.

Spread the masala Pomfret fish fry all over the fish. Marinate the coated Pomfret fish for 30 minutes.

Heat a pan and pour oil in it. Once the oil is heated, fry the Pomfret fish at medium flame for few minutes. Now lower the flame and close it with a lid. Cook it well and turn the fish.
