In the recipe process, we first have to prepare the masala paste. For that, grind the pepper, cumin seeds, sliced coconut, large onion to a fine paste.
Heat the gingelly oil in a pan; add fennel seeds to the hot oil; when the fennel seeds pop, add curry leaves, garlic, and shallot and cook. Add little salt just for the added ingredients.
Add tomato and cook; when the mixture cooked well, add chilli powder and ½ glass of water. And in a while add the prepared paste and water as necessary; let it cook well.
Check the spiciness and taste; make additions of them, if necessary. Then, add the prepared crab to the gravy and let it cook for 10 minutes under cover.
